Meet Horus: Your AI DeFi assistant

Horus is Hubra's conversational AI that helps you work through DeFi in plain language. It drafts transactions and surfaces context; you review and sign.

Think of it as a copilot: it explains tradeoffs, prepares the steps, and never moves funds without your signature.

DeFi has a UX problem

You've felt it. The dashboards with 47 numbers you don't understand. The swap interface asking about slippage when you just want to buy SOL. The yield opportunity that looked great until you calculated the gas fees.

Most DeFi tools assume you already know what you're doing. They hand you power but demand expertise in return. The gap between "technically possible" and "actually usable" is where most people give up.

What if you could describe what you want and get a clear draft to sign?

How Horus works

Three steps:

  1. You ask in plain English
  2. Horus reads your balance / suggests a route, and estimates costs
  3. You review the draft and sign

No hunting through menus. No remembering which DEX has better rates today. No manual slippage math.

Say "swap half my USDC to SOL" and Horus uses your balance to draft a Jupiter route and shows estimated output before you sign anything.

Say "swap all my USDC to SOL and then stake it" and Horus prepares chained transaction drafts. One conversation, two signatures when you're ready.

What Horus can do

Portfolio intelligence

Ask about your holdings and get more than numbers.

Horus shows allocation breakdown, flags concentration risk and volatile token exposure, and summarizes recent activity. It tells you what those numbers mean for your situation, not just what they are—read-only context, not moves on your behalf.

Trading

Horus drafts token swaps through Jupiter with price impact and fee breakdown—you confirm each one.

Say "Buy 1 SOL at $50" and it prepares a limit order for you to submit. For DCA, "$500 into SOL over 5 daily orders" lays out the schedule; you approve the setup.

Staking and yield

Horus walks you through staking SOL to raSOL via Sanctum with APY comparison and drafts unstake when you ask.

Browse earn vaults filtered by token, risk level, and APY. Deposit and withdraw flows are drafted for your approval, not run in the background for you.

Perpetual trading

For leverage exposure: SOL, BTC, ETH futures up to 100x.

Horus surfaces risk info—entry, liquidation, unrealized PnL—so you know what you're signing into before you open or adjust a position.

Transfers and alerts

Draft sends by wallet address or saved contact. "Send 5 SOL to mom" builds the transfer if mom is in your address book; you still sign.

Configure price alerts like "alert me when SOL drops below $100"; Hubra can notify you when conditions hit (alerts aren't trades—just pings).

Gasless transactions

All transactions on Hubra are gasless. Hubra covers the network fees.

Platform fees run 0.5-1% on swaps. Limit orders and DCA positions have a setup fee around 0.008 SOL.

No more "insufficient balance for gas" errors. No more keeping SOL aside just to pay for other transactions.

Horus remembers you

This isn't a stateless chatbot.

Horus keeps track of your preferences like risk tolerance, default slippage, and favorite tokens. It remembers facts about your goals and patterns from previous conversations. The more you use it, the better it gets at understanding what you actually want.

Built to push back

Horus has opinions and shares them.

When recommending something, it shows the math. If you ask to swap $17 of stablecoins for a vault with 0.5% more APY, Horus will tell you the swap fee makes it a bad trade.

A lot of assistants rubber-stamp requests. Horus tells you when the numbers don't work before you sign.

Example conversation

You: "What's my portfolio look like?"

Horus: Shows holdings, allocation percentages, and flags that you're 60% in one token. That's concentration risk.

You: "Rebalance to 50% SOL, 25% USDC, 25% raSOL"

Horus: Calculates the swaps, shows routes and fees, presents a transaction card. You sign; the chain submits what you approved.

You: "Set an alert if SOL drops 10% from here"

Horus: Saves the alert. You get notified when it triggers (no trade unless you act).

Three messages. Rebalance plan drafted, signed by you, plus monitoring. No dashboard.

Common questions

Is Horus a wallet?

No. It works with your existing Hubra wallet. You sign every transaction. Horus builds them, you approve.

What if something goes wrong?

Horus shows a detailed transaction card before you sign: tokens in/out, exchange rates, fees, price impact, estimated value. Nothing executes without your approval.

Can Horus access my private keys?

No. Keys stay in your wallet. Horus builds transactions that you sign. It cannot move funds without your signature.

What chains does Horus support?

Solana only right now. Deep integration with Jupiter for swaps, Sanctum for staking, and Hubra's earn vaults.

How is Horus different from other AI assistants?

Most stop at chat. Horus connects to real DeFi flows: it drafts transaction bundles you can sign, instead of only describing what you should do elsewhere.
